Donation is funded by the charity collected by selling Ars Aevijes “Illycaffe” cups, which was organized during the celebration of the Day of the Republic of Italy in June in the premises of Art Depot Ars Aevi Sarajevo.

The Government of Italy, in an emergency procedure, assisted population affected by floods in BiH providing assistance worth 300,000 Euros.

Help is distributed through the International Red Cross and the World Health Organization with the intervention of some 70 volunteers of the Italian Civil Protection who worked in Bijeljina during the disaster.

At the donor conference in Brussels in July this year, Italy was committed to provide support for reconstruction in Bosnia and Herzegovina of 1.2 million. The money mentioned is intended to be spent for projects for the benefit of agriculture and small businesses.

The Ars Aevi Collection, with 150 works of contemporary art, was donated by many artists such as Michelangelo Pistoletto, Jannis Kounellis, Joseph Beuys, Braco Dimitrijevic and Joseph Kosuth.

In addition, Ars Aevi was unveiled at the Venice Biennale in 2013, and in June this year it celebrated twenty years of existence. The anniversary was marked with the exhibition “Ars Aevi in progress” at the Museum “Pecci” in Milan, was announced from the Italian Embassy in BiH.
