Representatives of the Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Ambassador of Slovenia to our country Damijan Sedar attended today’s official handover of Slovenia’s donation to Bosnia and Herzegovina in the form of 48,000 doses of AstraZenec coronavirus vaccine.
On behalf of Slovenia, the donation was handed over by the ambassador of that country to BiH, Damijan Sedar.
“BiH is our friendly state and an important partner in the fight against the pandemic. I am glad that this donation complements the shipment of material aid from Slovenia, which is on its way and which I will officially hand over tomorrow, “said Sedar.
He stressed that his country is aware that the needs of Bosnia and Herzegovina remain great.
“Especially the need for protective equipment. Slovenia, as a partner country, will try to follow the needs of BiH. In the end, let me tell you that I was vaccinated with these same vaccines in Slovenia, “said Sedar.
The vaccines were received in BiH by the Assistant Minister in the Health Sector of the Ministry of Civil Affairs of BiH, Dusan Kojic.
“I want to thank the Government of Slovenia for today’s donation. I believe that with today’s donation we will have enough vaccines and that we will be able to complete the vaccination of priority groups. I think that we will be ready for mass vaccination, for which this period is ideal “, said Kojic.
