Douglas Jones is the new ambassador of the United States of America in Bosnia and Herzegovina, writes the Montenegrin portal Žurnal. Jones is a diplomat who has served in the Western Balkans region for many years, and currently holds the position of Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs.
We remind you that the current ambassador Michael Murphy’s mandate expires in February 2025, but there have been long speculations about his early departure and replacement. Still no official confirmation.
