The “A” national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina trained today at the RSL Stadium in Salt Lake City.
NS/FS BiH President Vico Zeljković and his associates provided support to the coaching staff and players ahead of the upcoming challenges that await our team at the World Cup.
Before the training session, Amar Dedić and Samed Baždar addressed the media representatives.
Dedić reflected on the previous match, but also on the next opponent, the Qatar team: “We can agree that it could have been better against Switzerland. We left them too much space. However, everyone fought and we can’t blame anyone. After the red card, it was more difficult and we conceded more goals. Realistically, now that we know we need a win against Qatar, we have to attack from the first minute and show that we want to win. I believe we can do it and we will go through to the next round round of the competition.”
“The most important match of the World Cup ahead of us”
Among other things, Baždar said: “For sure, there is still regret over the loss to Switzerland. We certainly played well until the 75th minute and the game could have turned in our favor. At such a high level, even one mistake can cost you. Switzerland took advantage of that and showed that they are a very good team. Now we have to focus all our thoughts on Qatar and the most important match at the World Cup that is ahead of us.”
Until the match with Qatar, Sergej Barbarez’s team will do three more training sessions, announced the Football/Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
