Operations at the airport in the Iraqi city of Erbil have been suspended after a drone was shot down near the airport, the state news agency reported.
In the incident, several people were injured and regular civilian flights were interrupted, said the spokesman of the Iraqi army, Jahja Rasol.
According to unconfirmed reports, the drone struck a coalition military base next to the airport, injuring several security personnel.
