Art of Ascention Band Dec 2012 100On 8 November at the 17th Jazz Fest Sarajevo the trio of American guitarist David Gilmore will perform.

Even though the concert was originally planned in the Youth Theater, tickets for the concert are sold out before the opening of the festival box office, so the concert will be held in the Bosnian Cultural Center (BKC).

‘’Since the youth theater is too small to accommodate everyone who wants to attend the Art of Ascension Trio made up of Gilmore, bassist Matt Garrison and drummer Gene Lake, we decided to hold this concert in the BKC, which is much larger’’, said Đana Karavdić from the Directorate of the Jazz Fest.

The Art of Ascension Trio will perform on 8 November at 19:00.

Gimore is a multi-instrumentalist, a musician who plays piano, drums, percussion and guitar. He developed a distinctive style and skill of virtuoso guitar playing. He performed with various names in Jazz, and is active in the music world that borders on pop, and he left his mark on more than 50 recordings.
