The BiH Presidency Member Sefik Dzaferovic received yesterday in a farewell visit the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain José María Valdemora Giménez.

The interlocutors agreed that the relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Kingdom of Spain are good and friendly and that there is room for improvement when it comes to economic and cultural cooperation.

The interlocutors also talked about the reforms that await Bosnia and Herzegovina in the continuation of its EU and NATO path, and special attention was drawn to the support that Spain provides to Bosnia and Herzegovina when it comes to these processes.

The crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and its consequences in both countries was also a topic of the meeting, primarily when it comes to health care and the economic aspect of the crisis.

The BiH Presidency member Džaferović thanked Ambassador Giménez for his successful engagement in Bosnia and Herzegovina and wished him luck in his future diplomatic endeavors.
