The member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sefik Dzaferovic, said after the meeting that there was talk especially about the role of Slovenia when it comes to BiH’s European path.
Speaking about the overall visit to Bled and participation in the Bled Strategic Forum, Dzaferovic emphasized that the need to include all six countries of the Western Balkans in the European Union is now emphasized more than ever.

“It has been said very clearly, as never before, that the European Union will not be complete until all the countries of the Western Balkans become members, and it was also said that as much as the EU needs the Western Balkans, the European Union needs the countries of the Western Balkans,” Dzaferovic said.

Dzaferovic believes that bh. institutions should function as prescribed by the Constitution and that the best way for BiH and all other Western Balkan countries is to become EU members as soon as possible.

“I would say the same for NATO, although there are some countries in the Western Balkans that have a different attitude towards NATO. The European Union for the entire Western Balkans and BiH means the rule of law, economic prosperity and respect for human freedoms and rights, and NATO is security. “, Dzaferovic said, Klix.ba writes.
