edin dzeko 0601012BiH Manchester City football player Edin Džeko during an interview with Kicker commented on his former club Wolfsburg, with which in season 2008 / 09 sensationally won the Bundesleague.

Since then, they are no longer able to approach the top of the German elite class, and for that, Džeko blames the pressure.

“Fans are expecting to repeat the title, but that was very difficult. After this crazy triumph appeared euphoria in the city which automatically increased the pressure on the team for the following years“, said BiH footballer player.

Džeko believes that it is not bad that intoday’s team remained only Diego Benaglio, Marcel Schäfer and Makoto Hasebe from the players who four years ago won the championship.

“This is a chance for Wolfsburg since most of today’s players are no longer seen through the prism of the previous success“, adding that the particular quality, he considers midfield teams Dieter Hecking.

“When you look at what the players, you undersand that Wolfsburg has to have a lot of opportunities and chances. Caligiuri, Perišić, Diego, Koo, Vieirinha and young Arnold – with their coach have real qualities, but also it is difficult to choose the composition. I wish that Wolfsburg, soon again to  play for the Champions League. To be honest, with the quality of players, Wolfsburg should not end from 8th  to 15th  place as the previous season“, concluded 27-year-old representative of BiH.
