Dzeko said “Yes” to Chelsea!

The striker of Roma and the national football team of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Edin Dzeko, has agreed to transfer to Chelsea. This news was stated by a well-known Italian journalist, Gianluca Di Marzio, an expert in large transfers.

“Chelsea has been looking for a quality striker for a long time. Several names were associated with this team, but then ahead of them the name of the captain of the BH national team popped up. Dzeko has, according to Di Marzio, agreed to transfer to the ranks of the London club. Now it is all on the Chelsea, who will along with Edin, also bring defender Emerson Palmieri, “ ‘Sportsport.ba’ reports.

The total transfer value should be 60 million euros. Roma would immediately collect 50 million euros, additional 10 would get through bonuses, while a Belgian striker Michy Batshuayi will in the case of a final agreement.

If everything is done properly, Dzeko will return to England after two and a half years, where he was wearing the Manchester City jersey from January 2011 to August 2015.

Dzeko played a total of 116 matches for Roma and scored 61 goals.
