Prominent B&H writer Dževad Karahasan will receive the honor on 23 August in the city park in Stolac to open this year’s “Slovo Gorčina”, one of the manifestations that preserves the memory of Mehmedalija Mak Dizdar, one of the greatest poets from the region.
After the official opening, where his poems will be recited, the literary prizes “Mak Dizdar” will be awarded to young poets for the first unpublished collection of poetry.
