Džumhur is the Winner of ATP Challenger in Arad

damir_dzumhurThe Bosnian tennis player Damir Džumhur is the winner of the ATP Challenger tournament in Arad (Romania), worth 35 000 Euros.

Džumhur has defeated the first holder, Pere Riba from Spain, who is 84th  player on the ATP list with a 6:4, 7:6 (7/3).

Twenty-two year old boy from Sarajevo, who is the fifth holder of the tournament, won the second title on the ATP Challenger tournaments. Before the triumph in Arad, he celebrated his victory in Mersin in mid-April, where he also won today’s opponent.

The victory in Arad brought Džumhur additional 80 points and is expected to progress for additional 10 places on the ATP ranking list. He occupies 129th place currently.
