Ekopak Packaging Waste at Sarajevo Holiday Market

ekopakCoca Cola Sarajevo Holiday Market, in cooperation with the company Ekopak, included in the program recycling of waste, and in this way gave its contribution to the protection of the environment in B&H.

At the Coca Cola Holiday Market, Ekopak bins have been set up for waste according to category, which would allow easier separation of waste and its reuse in the production process. The aim of the action is to raise awareness of the importance of recycling, as one of the ways to reduce pollution of the atmosphere. Ekopak is a nonprofit company, established with the aim of taking responsibility for the fulfillment of legal obligations for recycling and recovery of packaging waste in the FB&H.

They appeal to visitors to the Coca Cola Sarajevo Holiday Markets to separate the waste according to the instructions on the cans, so that the Ekopak staff could properly dispose it and be included in further recycling. Coca Cola Sarajevo Holiday Market is a joint activity of UG Zone of Enhanced Business- ZUP Baščaršija and Sarajevo Navigator Foundation, created under the auspices of USAID-Sida Farma Project, which included the ZUP Baščaršija and Sarajevo Navigator as coordinators.
