Elections for the BiH Parliament: SDA first in the Federation, SNSD in Republika Srpska

According to the preliminary results of the Central Election Commission for the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Democratic Action Party won the most votes from the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, while Milorad Dodik’s SNSD won the most votes in the Republic of Srpska.

In the Federation of BiH, SDA won 234,751 votes, or 31.55 percent. SDP BiH followed with 115,993 votes or 15.59 percent, while the coalition HDZ BiH, HSP BiH, HKDU, HSP AS, HDU, HSP HB and HRAST won 97,030 votes, or 13.04 percent.

The Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina won 65,424 votes or 8.79 percent, Narod i Pravda/SDBiH 51,473 votes or 6.92 percent, and the coalition Željko Komšić – For Civil State – DF/GS 47,392 votes or 6.37 percent.

The Croatian five are followed by HDZ 1990, HRS, HNP, HDS and HSS with 33,066 votes or 4.44 percent, NES BiH, PDA, Next! – For European BiH together with 31,465 votes or 4.23 percent, and Our Party with 30,074 votes or 4.04 percent.

In the Republic of Srpska, Milorad Dodik’s SNSD won the most votes, with 200,984 votes, or 40.94 percent. In second place is Draško Stanivuković – Safe Srpska Movement with 74,149 votes or 15.10 percent, while the Serbian Democratic Party – Will of the People won 64,476 votes or 13.13 percent.

Nebojša Vukanović’s List for Justice and Order won 28,798 votes or 5.87 percent, DNS-NPS Banjac-Nešić 26,041 votes or 5.30 percent, and Socialist Party Petar Đokić – DEMOS 23,243 votes or 4.74 percent.

United Srpska won 21,619 votes or 4.40 percent, SPS – Socialist Party of Srpska – Goran Selak 15,991 votes or 3.26 percent, while SDA in the RS won 10,770 votes or 2.19 percent.

According to CEC data, 1,352,338 ballots were processed, of which 1,235,076 were valid. All valid ballots are regular, while votes by mail, absentee, mobile team, DKP and confirmed ballots have not yet been recorded.

The number of voters is 3,338,785, and 4,827 out of a total of 5,122 polling stations were processed. 25 political entities and 711 candidates participated in this election race.

4,827 polling stations, or 94.24 percent, were received, while 295 polling stations, or 5.76 percent, were not received.

Of the total number of processed ballots, 1,235,076 or 91.33 percent are valid. There are 44,503 or 3.29 percent of invalid blank ballots, while there are 72,759 or 5.38 percent of invalid ballots on other grounds.

These are preliminary results, and the final results will be known after the competent electoral institutions finish processing and confirming the votes.
