Eleven thousand tourists visited National Park ‘Una’ last year, and estimates are that around 30 000 tourists visited it, taking into account the fact that the large part of the park is not properly controlled.

Manager of the National Park Amarildo Mulić said to FENA that in 2012, 2 600 people participated at the Una rafting, and at fishing spots 1 360 participated and 60 kayakers participated in various competitions.

Mulić added that he hopes that 2013 will be even better and that there will be even greater number of tourists.

He added that the Steering Board of National Park ‘Una’ has decided to establish a greater number of fishing spots, but there will be some changes related to fishing, which will be known before 1 March, when the season opens.

He added that this year’s priorities are, according to him, the continuation of enriching the tourist infrastructure by building new tourist tracks and destinations within the park as well as maintaining the old ones.
