The newly elected president of the Football Federation of B&H, Elvedin Begić is the first president whose mandate will last for four years. This will be the first time that a president will be presiding the Football Federation of B&H for such a long period. As the former deputy president of the Committee for normalization, he did a lot of memorable and positive things.
The first man of the FFB&H talked to the press about the reality of our national team, our chances in the qualifications for the World Championship, the issues of infrastructure and the collaboration with UEFA and FIFA. He also stressed the priorities of this Football Federation, and those are the placement of the A team into the World Championship
“We want to maintain the first place in the qualification group and fortunately qualify for Brazil. If we succeed in that, it would be a lot easier to work in the future. That is our main goal, there are no other goals. We have to work on the improvement of the working conditions of all our teams. We will make effort to take the U-21 team to the big competition. I think it is our time to shine, because we have a good team. We are also doing everything to help all our teams to achieve success. That is the basis of our work, and I believe that we will succeed in doing it right.”- said Begović.
The President of the Football Federation of B&H emphasized how the current matches of the senior teams are already scheduled to be played on the ”Bilino Polje” stadium in Zenica.
