The Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina received official confirmation late last night that Emir Karić can play for the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“The FIFA Players’ Status Committee has accepted the request of Karić and the NSBiH to change his sports citizenship, so this footballer can now play for the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina and will be available to coach Sergej Barbarez for the match against Austria tonight,” the NSBiH announced.

Emir Karić was born on June 9, 1997, and currently plays for SK Sturm Graz.
