ENAThe representative of  B&H and a member of Taekwondo club Sarajevo, Ena Oruč won a golden medal at the World Open Taekwondo Championships in London in the junior competition in the+50kg category.

Oruč with the coach Ibrahim Koljo and the club colleague Željana Trogrlić today arrived at Sarajevo airport, where they were greeted by family members and friends.

“I think I am not yet aware of the success.I have been preparing for long time and efforts paid off. It will take some time that my impressions about Championship settle“, said Oruč to Agency Fena.

Thirteen year old girl pointed out that all the fights were difficult because the competitors at the championship came fully prepared.

“I fought against representatives of the Netherlands, England, the USA and England again in the finals. The hardest part was in the final battle because the opponent was really good, but I was well prepared and I eventually won“, said Oruč.

Coach Kolja pointed out that Oruč has not received any financial assistance from the relevant institutions, even though the club applied to each of the published grants.

“We will have a new battle with finances if we want to participate in the next contest, a Ena’s achievements requires good tournaments in order to maintain continuity”, said Kolja, adding that the next tournament that Oruč should participate is Irish Cup which will be held in November.
