Trebinje_003‘Days of Herzegovina’ is the name of a conference that will be held for the first time in Trebinje, as well as in other municipalities in the region from 15-18 August.

Hosts and holders of the initiative for the organization of the event are municipalities of East Herzegovina and Podrinje (Bileća, Berkovići, Čajniče, Foča, Gacko, Novo Goražde, East Mostar, Kalinovnik, Ljubinje, Nevesinje, Rogatica, Rudo, Trebinje and Višegrad)

The aim of the conference is the development and revitalization of this part of the RS, which has an abundance of untapped natural resources, favorable climate and unpolluted environment, and a rich cultural heritage and centuries-long tradition.

The organizers warn that East Herzegovina, with the region of Podrinje (part of Old Herzegovina), in spite of all the resources is at the bottom of development of the RS, and that it is necessary to encourage the active engagement of Herzegovinians who live there, as well as the diaspora, so that this area would become a place for a quality life and return rather than emigration.

The gathering is seen as an annual meeting place for all those who love Herzegovina and those who see opportunities for business activities and secure investment through various kinds of partnerships and individual investment.

During the working part of the conference, there will be projects presented from various areas, an organization of discussions and lectures by successful business people and people from the social and cultural life of Herzegovina.

The informal part of the conference will be based on sightseeing in Herzegovina and a visit to cultural events that will be held during this time in the region.
