Transparency International in Bosnia and Herzegovina demanded from the Government of Republika Srpska to submit contract that Republican Party operatives close to U.S. President Donald Trump, James Blair and Chris LaCivita, made with the Government of Republika Srpska.
According to findings by New York Times, which was previously reported on, they received several hundred thousand dollars each for providing advice related to elections.
“The case ended up at the epicenter of a major political scandal in the U.S., and considering that our public is interested in what types of advice related to election the authorities in Republika Srpska paid for using taxpayers’ money, we believe the contract should be publicly available,” stated TI BiH.
Trump also commented on this.
“I have no idea who else they work for, but once I think about it, I will ask them, and if there is a conflict of interest, I will fire them immediately,” Trump stated.
Today, all U.S. media outlets were buzzing about it, and Politico reported that Trump’s associates are “in a panic” over the engagement in Republika Srpska, as the president “hates when people make money off of him.”
