The member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željka Cvijanović, reacted to the scandal that happened in the United States of America, which is related to operatives close to the President of the USA, Donald Trump, who stayed in Banja Luka during the election campaign.
Cvijanović, as could be expected, found the culprit for this scandal, in which Trump’s operatives Chris LaCivita and James Blair were involved.
“The globalist media is trying to deal with President Donald Trump through Republika Srpska, and the Sarajevo media is dealing with Republika Srpska, through President Trump, whom they openly hate,” says Cvijanović.
In the message, she further stated that the entity is under attack by “globalist elites”.
“The RS respects the policy and approach of the current American administration, and because of this we are exposed to the attacks of its opponents from Washington and Sarajevo. The globalist elites have destabilized Bosnia and Herzegovina for thirty years and now they want to threaten the stability that was achieved thanks to the administration of President Trump,” she wrote.
She also commented on American media reports that SNSD president Milorad Dodik is pro-Russian, claiming otherwise, even though her party boss is proud of his ties to Russia.
“As for the false claims that the RS and its representatives are exponents of foreign influence, we clearly say that we are exclusively pro-Serbian oriented and that we cooperate with everyone who respects us and our constitutional capacity based on the Dayton Agreement. In the sea of lies that are being spread these days, the biggest lie is that the representatives of the Republika Srpska paid someone for meetings with US officials,” said Cvijanović.
It is worth pointing out that the lobbying contracts showed how companies paid by the Government of the RS worked to organize meetings of entity and state officials from the RS with representatives of the administration in Washington.
“The RS strives to protect its identity, constitutional competences and Christian values. It is obviously a problem for some, but it is not for us, because we believe in what we are fighting for. The RS is peaceful, stable, focused on future development and grateful to everyone who does not hinder us in this effort, especially those who help us in this,” said Željka Cvijanović, Klix.ba writes.
