Mirascic, who as a member of the state delegation participated in talks of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Washington in recent days, said that the leaders of both of these financial institutions praised the fulfillment of the measures at the level of BiH and FBiH. Reform process that were carried out by the Government of the FBiH were emphasized in particular.

Of the total amount of loans of the World Bank, the FBiH will get 60 %, or about 780 million BAM, according to Mirascic. He confirmed that sectors where these funds will be implemented were defined, and it will be modernization of roads, small and medium enterprises and employment, health care, strengthening of the business environment and fiscal sustainability.

“The amounts for specific areas have not been specified yet. As for the FBiH, the loan for modernization of roads in the amount of 55 million USD or 95 million BAM is 100 % sure. However, there are co-financiers the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and European investment Bank (EIB),” he said.

Speaking about the money for health care, Mirascic said that certain measures have been prescribed, but FBiH fulfilled most of them.

He emphasized that funds of the World Bank for the health sector in the FBiH, will largely depend on the analysis of the health sector as well.
