The Energoinvest d.d. Company initiated all-encompassing and systematic process of identifying, protecting, reactivating, registering, and putting owned property back into function, both in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and in international markets where company operated.

Following a detailed analysis of the available documentation and the legal status of the properties, the Management Board of Energoinvest started an active stage of asset management aimed at protecting property rights, increasing the value of the company’s equity, strengthening the company’s balance sheet, and generating new revenue sources.

“Energoinvest owns significant assets accumulated through decades of business operations in the domestic and international market. Our obligation is to protect, register, and put assets back into service for the company’s development. Every property returned to the system of Energoinvest represents added value for our shareholders and directly strengthens the company’s financial position. This is not a short-term project, but a strategic process of reclaiming the value that belongs to Energoinvest,” emphasized Director Mirza Ustamujić.

According to the company, the first results of this process are already visible.

Properties in Novi Sad, as well as over 42, 000 square meters of land in Mali Zvornik have been identified in the Republic of Serbia. These properties have been identified, reclaimed into the ownership of Energoinvest, and placed under active management. At the same time, reorganization of the business unit and the commercial property management system is underway in Belgrade, aimed at establishing a fully functional and sustainable business model.

A detailed analysis and physical inspection of properties owned by Energoinvest were conducted in the Republic of Turkey. Furthermore, the undertaken activities lay the groundwork for their full market valorization and reintegration into the company’s business operations.

Significant progress has also been achieved through the recording and registration of a portion of properties in other countries, while parallel activities are being conducted to protect property rights of Energoinvest before the competent institutions.

“As a result of already undertaken activities, the company has identified and recorded additional assets which for years have not been adequately reported in the financial statements of the company. This will achieve a direct positive effect on the value of the total assets and the equity of the company,” they stated.

They emphasized that activities to locate, legally regulate, protect, and reclaim the remaining property will continue across of Bosnia and Herzegovina, region, and the world.

“The commitment of management is clear: the property of Energoinvest is not for sale. Our focus is on reclaiming, protecting, registering, and putting back into service every property that belongs to the company. At the same time, we are not giving up on legal proceedings directed towards reclaiming the assets that were alienated from the Energoinvest system in suspicious or controversial ways over the previous years. The value of assets that have been returned, registered, or are currently in active recovery proceedings is measured in millions, an every successfully conducted activity directly strengthens the balance sheet of the company, increases the equity value, and represents an investment into the future of Energoinvest,” Ustamujić stated.

The process of identifying, protecting, and valorizing assets will continue in the coming period, and the public will be informed of the most significant results in a timely manner. Energoinvest is reclaiming its assets, reclaiming its value and the company’s strength.
