Ensemble Halka, which was created in April of this year, published the first CD with 14 songs that will delight all lovers of true Sevdaha.
The five vocals Božo Vrećo, guitar and mandolin Dino Šukalo, harmonics and piano Adis Sirbubalo, double bass Edvin Hadžić and Anes Beglerbegović, synchronized their energy, and love for Sevdah and produced this extraordinary musical CD that will surely leave a mark.
They are special in their own style, ability and choice of songs. The album contains songs by Joze Penava, Rade Jovanović, Zekerijah Đezić and Emine Zečaj, and they will honor as well great Sevdahs such of Zaim Imamović, Omer Pobrić, Safet Isović and Himze Polovina.
“The ensemble Halka really means a lot to me, because there are such a great musicians and to be a part of this band is really very special. Repertoire and record of songs were spontaneously. We chose the songs that we all love, and because of that it turned out to be so good album. I hope that the album will be greatly listened and liked “, said the singer of ensemble Bozo.
The Cooperation of this young band is initiated by the last November during the Music Meeting, educational Jazz Fest whose attendant was Vrećo, and while other members of the ensemble participated in the programs of the festival scene Late Night Stage.
The first concert in which was promoted new CD Halka was held last night at the studio Figure.
But all those who want to enjoy the true Sevdah can attend the Summer Stage in Ilidža on 10th of August. The price of ticket is 5 KM. After that, it will be a tour through the major cities of BiH.
The Album of Halka Ensemble, was produced by Edin Zubčević and released from Gramafon, and it is for selling for the price of 7 KM.
