The European Union flag was torn at the Croatian Embassy in Sarajevo and was taken down and thrown last night. The holder is damaged and partially torn out.

Police are currently searching for the perpetrators, Vecernji list writes.

“It happened between 11 pm and midnight. The EU flag was torn down, and the Croatian flag, which was also displayed, was not torn. We are in contact with the police and at this moment we have no more information,” said Croatian Ambassador to BiH Ivan Sabolic.

The damage was noticed by embassy staff who called the police.

The search should be facilitated by the fact that the area where the flags are displayed is covered by video surveillance. The available information shows how it all happened during the curfew.
