EUFOR Commander Major General Maurizio Fronda attended the opening of the EU Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP) Orientation Course in Sarajevo through the Peace Support Operations Training Centre (PSOTC), delivering remarks alongside PSOTC Commandant Colonel Alibašić.

The course brings together defence and security professionals to strengthen understanding of the EU’s CSDP and its role in promoting peace and security. Major General Fronda highlighted the value of military education, cooperation, and knowledge-sharing in addressing today’s security challenges.

“Courses such as the CSDP Orientation Course help build shared understanding, strengthen professional networks, and enhance cooperation among security and defence professionals,” said Major General Fronda

He also praised PSOTC for its contribution to professional development and international cooperation. EUFOR remains committed to supporting initiatives that strengthen professional capacity, promote cooperation, and contribute to a safe and secure environment in Bosnia and Herzegovina and beyond.
