EUFOR’s Liaison and Observation Team (LOT) in Banja Luka took part in “The Big Start”, an event for schoolchildren marking the beginning of a new school year, held near Mladen Stojanović Park in Banja Luka.
EUFOR personnel hosted a stand at the event, providing a practical first aid workshop and engaging directly with schoolchildren and members of the local community.
The event offered another valuable opportunity for EUFOR personnel to meet people in the local community, answer questions and strengthen understanding of EUFOR’s role and presence in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Through regular engagement across the country, EUFOR’s LOT Houses help maintain close contact with local communities and contribute to EUFOR’s understanding of the local environment.
