The Deputy Minister for Finance and Treasury Edita Đapo and the Ambassador of Greece to BiH Karolos Gadis assessed today in Sarajevo that the European perspective is open for countries of the Balkans, and that Greece is ready to help in the process of BiH accession to the EU.
They spoke of Euro Atlantic integration, given that Greece takes over the EU Presidency in the first half of 2014, announced the BiH Ministry of Finance and Treasury.
Đapo thanked the donations of the Greek government for the reconstruction of the building of the BIH Council of Ministers as part of the project HiPERB.
Gadis stressed the importance of regional cooperation between countries in South East Europe and said that there is an interest for Greek investors to invest in BiH.
During the meeting they put special emphasis on the perspectives of the development of tourism, where some contacts have already been established.
They agreed that substantial cooperation could be achieved in the field of academic exchange.
