Thousands of people gather at the three-day “Kurultaj” festival in the village of Bugac in Hungary to celebrate the culture and history of various peoples.
It is the largest European festival dedicated to traditional horseback riding, archery, and folklore.
The festival attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors and brings together participants from across the political spectrum, united by an interest in ancient history and tribal heritage.
Kurultaj is one of the most interesting international festivals in Europe, and more than 27 nations usually take part in it.
More than a hundred horsemen and thousands of traders actively participate in the festival, mostly in ancient Hunnic, Avar, and Hungarian costumes and armor.
