Event “The Quds Day 2014”

peaceful walk for gaza 1The Association “Young Muslims” is for the last 15 years traditionally celebrating the International Quds day dedicated to Jerusalem.

The Quds day is being celebrated in all the countries but has a special meaning this year considering what is happening currently e. g. the terrible Israeli aggression in Gaza. – was announced at the Association “Young Muslims”.

The Quds day is related to Ramadan and it is being celebrated on the last Ramadan Friday after the Jumu’ah prayer.

This year, a special program will be held in the Gazi-Husrev Bey’s library on 25th July starting at 14:00 o’clock.

Opening speeches will be held by Fatmir Alispahić (journalist and writer) and Mayed Maarouf (ex- Palestinian ambassador in B&H and the current president of the Association Palestine community in B&H).

The event will be accompanied by a petition to sign entitled “Help Palestine – dove for the people of Gaza” which will be distributed in many towns across the world at the same time. – was announced from the Association “Young Muslims”.
