Commission for preservation of national monuments of BiH in cooperation with Cultural-Sports Centre ‘Petar Kočić’ of Mrkonjić Grad will organise from 18 to 30 April an exhibition of panels of national monuments ‘Cultural Memory- A Disappearing Treasure’, reports Fena.
The exhibition will be organised as a part of marking the International Monument Day and Monumental Complexes, and it will be exhibited in Cultural-Sports Centre ‘Petar Kočić’.
Exhibition for North Western region of BiH is represented by photo panels of national monuments from the area of Banja Luka, Bihać, Bosanska Krupa, Bosanski Petrovac, Bužim, Velika Kladuša, Glamoč, Gradiška, Derventa, Drvar, Jajce, Ključ, Kozarska Dubica, Laktaši, Mrkonjić-Grad, Novi Grad, Prijedor, Prnjavor, Sanski Most, Srbac, Cazin and Čelinac.
The topic of the marking of International Day of Monuments and Monumental Complexes is ‘Heritage of Education’, and on that occasion, a project ‘My BiH, my herritage’ will be presented, which is successfully implemented by the Commission for Preservation of National Monuments for several years.
The project is intended and adapted to students of primary and high schools so that they could learn about the diversity of BiH heritage and raising awareness about the importance and creation of responsibility in preserving the heritage, said the commission.
