The Bihac Cultural Center, in cooperation with United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), organized an exhibition of photographic works of children housed in the Temporary Reception Center Borici as part of the celebration of February 26th – City Day. In the center of the city, there are 27 photographs made in Bihac, below which the impressions of the young authors are written.

”This is the first cooperation of the Cultural Center with UNICEF, and we are really honored that the children from the Borici Center enriched the program of celebrating the “birthday” of our city with this exhibition. This has been their city for the past few years, from which we hope they will bring back fond memories,” the director of the Cultural Center in Bihac Erna Begatovic stated.

The Mayor of Bihac, Suhret Fazlic, characterized the exhibition as one of the most important and beautiful program contents of this year’s celebration of City Day.

”It is important that Bihac is not part of their bad memories on the road to a better life. These are children and we all want them to feel welcome and accepted here, that is, to allow them to call Bihac their city. I wish them all the best, whether in Bihac or some other place, and I hope that this exhibition will be a nice memory for them,” Mayor Fazlic added.

Yesterday, the children from the Temporary Reception Center Borici and Bihac primary schools and kindergartens enjoyed the theater play “Search for an accommodation“ (“Potraga za konacistem”) and a photography workshop with Lenka Samardzic.
