Exhumation of Incomplete Remains of Victims completed in Zvornik

At the Repista site, Krizevici in the Zvornik municipality, the process of exhumation of the terrain was completed and the incomplete remains of at least one person were found.

The subsequent process will determine the identity of the victims whose remains were found.

The exhumation process was supervised and coordinated by an investigator from the Special Department for War Crimes of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH.

The remains were transferred to the Tuzla Commemorative Center for further forensic and forensic processing and bone sampling in order to determine the identity of the victims by DNA analysis.

The exhumation process was attended by officers of the Institute for Missing Persons of BiH, a doctor specializing in forensic medicine, as well as police officers of Police Station Zvornik.
