Exhumation Process has begun in Bosanski Samac

The exhumation process has begun at the Kruskovo Polje site, Bosanski Samac municipality, and it is being carried out at the site for which there is preliminary information that the remains of one person, a victim from the previous war, could be found at it.

The persons who are at the site are investigators from the Special Department for War Crimes, a forensic pathologist, representatives of the BiH Missing Persons Institute (MPI), representatives of the International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP), police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency-SIPA and police officers of the Poice Station Bosanski Samac who are securing the site.

Representatives of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina have been participating in the processes of searching for missing persons and exhumations throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.
