Export from BiH higher by 10 Percent in the First Quarter

In the period January-April 20178 export amounted to 3 billion 765 million BAM, which is 10,6% higher than in the same period of 2017, and import amounted to 5 billion 938 million BAM, which is 8,3% higher than in the same period of last year. The coverage of import by export was 63,4% and foreign trade in goods deficit amounted to 2 billion 173 million BAM.

Export to CEFTA countries amounted to 572 million BAM, which is 9,7% higher than in the same period of 2017, while import amounted to 701 million BAM, which is 2,5% higher than in the same period of last year. The coverage of import by export was 81,7%.

Export to EU countries amounted to 2 billion 785 million BAM, which is 13,3% higher than in the same period of 2017, while import amounted to 3 billion 583 million BAM, which is 7% higher than in the same period of last year. The coverage of import by export wash77,7%.
