The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Policy and Security, Josep Borrell, called an extraordinary meeting of the ministers of foreign affairs of the EU countries on Tuesday, April 16.
“After Iran’s attack on Israel, I called an extraordinary meeting of the ministers of foreign affairs of the EU countries on Tuesday,” Borrell announced on the “X” network.
He added that the EU’s goal is to contribute to de-escalation and security in the Middle East region.
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen condemned Iran’s earlier attack on Israel and called on Tehran and its allies to stop such actions.
