fair-mineralsThe 13th International Fair of minerals, rocks, fossils, precious and semiprecious gems, will be held on the 15th and 16th of October 2016 in elementary school, “Dr. Boris Coric” from 10 am to 6 pm, and on Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm on Sunday.

“A large number of exponents will be exhibited at the fair, and ticket will cost 1 BAM for organized visits of children, students and pensioners and 3 BAM for adults. We think this is a good opportunity for an educational trip in which you will be able to see a number of minerals, extinct animal world that inhabited our region (fossils of elephant, rhinoceros, shellfish, sea urchins, various fish, plants, etc.),” said the organizers.

Geological history of our country will be represented through exhibits of minerals and fossils of many exhibitors, as well as the history of mining and blacksmith’s trade in our region, where besides lecturers, visitors will be able to see credible models of buildings that were used for processing of ore by author Ante Buzuk. The fair is an opportunity to buy jewelry made from minerals, semi-precious and precious gems. The fair will also include a variety of workshops and lectures.

Besides the fair, guests can also visit the Museum of the Franciscan monastery in Kresevo and the old town of Kresevo which is a protected monument of BiH.
