FBiH Minister of Environment and Tourism Branka Đurić is in her official visit to Turkey.
Đurić attended the International summit of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation – ‘The role of tourism in economic development of Black Sea region and its sustainability’. She was invited by the Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey Ertuğrul Günay.
Minister Đurić will attend the solemn opening ceremony of International Tourism Fair – EMITT 2013, which is being held in Istanbul from 24 January to 27 January, and BiH will also present itself at the fair , announced FBiH Ministry of Environment and Tourism.
At yesterday’s summit, which is traditionally being held for two decades, included nine ministries of tourism, from Turkey, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Moldova, Albania, Georgia, Romania, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the main topic was the development of sustainable tourism, promoting dialogue, exchange of knowledge and best practices among the participating countries.
In her speech, minister Đurić thanked Turkey and minister Günay on their selfless support that they’ve been giving to tourist sector of BiH, and noted that the cooperation and exchange of experiences in the development of tourism is what every country needs, and only that can bring successful results, especially when it comes to promoting the region in far-east market such as China, India, Japan.
After today’s solemn opening ceremony of International Tourism Fair- EMITT 2013, minister Đurić will visit the stand of BiH tourist sector, which is being represented for the first time at this respectable tourism fair, and she’ll offer her support to BiH tourism just as she did at the ATM fair in Dubai and at the International Tourism Fair in Izmir
