FBiH records Trade Deficit in amount of 800 million BAM

In March 2023, the Federation of BiH achieved exports worth 1,007,158,000 BAM, which is 2.5 percent more compared to February 2023 or 6.4 percent less compared to March of the previous year.

In March 2023, imports in the value of 1,807,842,000 BAM were realized, which is 17.5 percent more compared to February 2023, i.e. 2.9 percent more compared to March 2022.

In the period January – March 2023, exports grew on average every month by 2.23 percent, and imports grew on average by 1.36 percent.

The import-export ratio in March was 55.7 percent, which is 8.2 percent less than in February 2023, when the raito was 63.9 percent.

The trade deficit of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for March 2023 amounted to 800,684,000 BAM, according to data from the FBiH Statistics Agency.

In March 202, the FBiH mostly exported to Germany, Croatia and Austria, and imported mostly from Italy, Germany and Serbia.
