Federal Minister of the Interior Ramo Isak said today after the joint session of the Government of the Federation of BiH and the Government of the Republika Srpska that the Federal Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of the Interior of the Republika Srpska will intensify cooperation in the fight against all forms of crime.

The Governments of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Government of the Republika Srpska adopted a conclusion on the continuation of cooperation between the Federal Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Srpska in the areas defined by the protocol, memoranda and agreements, with the aim of intensifying the fight against all forms of crime, and that it is necessary to intensify cooperation in the area police training.

Isak subsequently stated that the Federal Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republika Srpska will start concluding new cooperation protocols in the coming period.

“By working together and intensifying the cooperation of police authorities, we can achieve results in the fight against crime and corruption. Both the Federal Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of the Interior of the Republika Srpska agree that it is necessary to cooperate in the field of police training, both basic and specialist,” the minister concluded.
