The proposed budget of the Federation of B&H for 2015, which amounts to 2,334,147,169 BAM, will be considered by the House of Representatives, as the decision on temporary financing of the FB&H will be expired on March 31st ’’ – said today Deputy Chair of the House of Representatives of FB&H, Saša Mitrović.
After House of Representatives, in order to be fully adopted, this year’s budget should also be adopted by the House of Peoples of the Federal Parliament.
“Collegium of the House of Peoples has not yet set a date for consideration of this year’s budget of the FB&H, but it certainly will not let people suffer due to the failure to adopt the budget,” said Chairwoman of the House of Peoples of the FB&H Parliament, Lydia Bradara.
She added that intense party negotiations are in process at the moment, believing that first of all, they should get to the appointment of the new government, and then to the adoption of the budget.
“On the same day when the Council of Ministers is elected, the federal government should be appointed as well,” said Mitrović, adding that due to the technical reasons, the House of Peoples most likely will be considering the budget on Tuesday, March 31st.
This year’s budget of the Federation is 141.4 million or 5.7 percent lower than the budget for 2014.
In relation to the Draft, determined by the Government of FBiH on 29 October 2014, in the amount of 2,345,247,169 BAM, fortified Budget proposal for 2015 is lower by 11.1 million.
Furthermore, Preposition of law of budget execution in FB&H will be on the agenda of House of Representatives sitting, as well as three financial plan propositions for extra-budgetary funds for 2015: The Health Insurance and Reinsurance Institute of FB&H, The Health Insurance and Reinsurance Institute of FB&H and The Federal Employment Institute”, said the president of the Caucus of Democratic Front in House of Representatives of Parliament FB&H Dženan Đonlagić for Fena.
He confirmed that no official meetings are planned for today, between the coalition partners (SDA, HDZ B&H and DF) regarding the appointment of state and federal authorities.
