Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Fadil Novalic congratulated Easter on Friday, on behalf of the Federal Government and himself, to the entire Orthodox faithful in the country.

“I extend my sincere congratulations to you on the greatest Orthodox holiday, wishing you to spend it in good health, peace and festive atmosphere with your loved ones and share the joy of Easter with your friends and neighbors, members of other faiths and nations.”

Novalic added that the circumstances are not usual, so unfortunately faithful will not be able to mark Easter in the traditional way, as it has always been in these parts of the world, but do not diminish the joy it brings and strengthen the belief that the adversities that have befallen us, as well the whole world, can overcome.

“May you have a happy Easter,” said Federal Prime Minister Novalic in a congratulatory note.
