At 58th emergency telephone session, the Government of the Federation of BiH issued Decision on declaring state of emergency in area of the Federation of BiH due to heavy rainfall that caused floods in area of FBiH.
In order to protect and rescue people and material goods in the endangered area, the Government determined for all Federation ministries, administrations and organizations, legal entities and other institutions to be at disposal of the Federation Department of Civil Protection (FŠCZ), and for competent cantonal and municipal/city civil protection headquarters to also place at disposal all available resources which will be used in endangered areas according to plans of protection and rescue of people and material goods.
In accordance with the Federation plan and requests from endangered areas, the Federation Civil Protection Headquarters is in charge of activating appropriate Federation rescue and protection services and Federation specialized civil protection units, and other legal entities, public companies and citizens if necessary, to assist in endangered areas – announced the PR Office of the FBiH Government.
