Federation of BiH records Decrease in Monthly Net Salary

The average monthly paid net salary per employee for June 2025 in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) amounted to 1.577 BAM and is nominally lower by 0.8 percent, and really lower by 1.3 percent, compared to the previous month.

Compared to the same month of the previous year, the average paid net salary per employee for June 2025 is nominally higher by 16.7 percent, and really higher by 12 percent.

In June compared to May 2025, the largest decrease in the average monthly paid net salary was recorded in the activity – Production and supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning by 3.9 percent, in Financial and insurance activities by 3.5 percent, and in Health and social protection activities by 2.7 percent, according to data from the Federal Bureau of Statistics.

At the same time, the largest increase in the average monthly paid net salary was recorded in the activity – Professional, scientific and technical activities by 0.6 percent, Education by 0.6 percent, and Real estate activities by 0.4 percent.

The average monthly gross salary per employee for June 2025 in the FBiH amounted to 2.458 BAM and is nominally lower by 0.9 percent, and really lower by 1.4 percent compared to the previous month.

Compared to the same month of the previous year, the average gross salary per employee for June 2025 is nominally higher by 16.6 percent, and really higher by 11.9 percent.
