The Foreign Trade Deficit of BiH was 3.9 billion BAM

Exports from Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) in the first five months of this year amounted to 7.254.000.000 BAM and are 3.4 percent lower than in the same period last year, while imports were 11.164.000.000 BAM and, are 0.6 percent higher than last year.

The foreign trade goods deficit amounted to 3.910.000.000 BAM, it was announced by the BiH Statistics Agency.

Export to the Central European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA) countries was 1.343.000.000 BAM, which is 4.5 percent less than in the same period last year, while import was 1.297.000.000 BAM, which is 5.4 percent less than in the same period of the previous year.

Exports to European Union (EU) countries were 5.357.000.000 BAM, which is 3.4 percent less than in the same period in 2022, while imports amounted to 6.542.000.000 BAM, which is 4.9 percent more than in the same period last year.
