klasBosnian food industry Klas d.d. Sarajevo opened one important market for its products. After several important negotiations with its Turkish partner, the export of flour from Klas to Turkey started.

Currently, two trucks, which is 50 tons of Klas four type 500 and 750, will be sent as a trial quantity to the Turkish market, Turkish bakeries and in retail. Soon, an additional 10 new deliveries will be made.

According to the director Rusmir Hrvić: “Turkey offers special benefits for the import of flour from B&H. In some sense, our country has benefits, because the flour to Turkey can only be exported from B&H. Apart from the starting business, we are in the negotiation stage with buyers from Turkey, who are already convinced of the quality of our flour named “Zlatni puder”, as well as the other types of Klas flour. In this year, they announced the annual realization of around 20 000 tons. Apart from this, Turkey importers quit from starting their own brand when they were convinced of the power of Klas’ flour.”

According to the MCM agency: the Turkish market regulator has very strong and strict controls of flour import, and the important fact is that all types of Klas’ flour satisfy the quality in almost all categories and have a higher value than prescribed.
