On 17 April, yet another film of Week of Turkish Film will be shown in Meeting Point Cinema Sarajevo. This time it is the film called ”Commissar Shakespeare” directed by Sinan Çetin and starring Okan Bayülgen, Kadir Inanir, Özkan Ugur, Gazanfer Özcan, Müjde Ar.
The film talks about little Su who is diagnosed with leukemia. As a result she is forced to give up the Snow White role she wanted so badly. Police Chief Cemil decided to stage the production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves at his police station with his prisoners as actors. As the rehearsals go on at the police station, Cemil tries to hide his daughter’s hospital equipment, but still it comes to tragicomic events.
