Film ‘Jasmina’ by Nedžad Begović to present BIH in Russia

1121094_JasminaFilm ‘Jasmina’ directed by Nedžad Begović will present BiH at the Second International Film Festival St. Petersburg in Russia, which will be held from 29 May to 2 June, reports radiosarajevo.ba

His film will be shown as a part of the special program Days of the Balkans Cinema.

The film talks about a grandmother Safa and her six-month old granddaughter Jasmina who fled the siege of Sarajevo and settled in Dalmatia near the coast. Their only neighbour is drunkard Stipe who starts taking care of Jasmina after her grandmother goes to hospital because of her asthma attack.

The film stars Zijah Sokolović, Nada Đurevska and Aleksandar Seksan.
