About 300 firefighters are fighting the fire that engulfed the shipyard of the company “Lursen” in the province of Schleswig-Holstein, in the north of Germany, reported the German television NDR.

Referring to the spokesperson of the local fire department, NDR states that the fire has been brought under control and that it has been prevented from spreading to other buildings.

Local police said that one person suffered minor injuries and smoke inhalation. Because of the smoke, around 30 residents were evacuated from nearby areas in the municipality of Schacht-Audorf.

The fire also engulfed the yacht that was inside the shipyard. The roof of the building and part of the facade collapsed, and several explosions rang out.
