First BIZOO Startup Safari Successfully Completed in B&H

bizooThe first BIZOO Startup Safari officially ended on Monday, 27 January, whose aim was to provide an opportunity for all young entrepreneurs and all those who want to become familiar with the operation of successful companies and to get information on the benefits and challenges of the economic sector, once they wish to start their own business.

12 young people from B&H during six days of the official program of BIZOO Safari traveled 2.000 kilometers, visited 5 cities and exchanged experiences with representatives of 11 large companies.

Companies that participated in this program are from different sectors. Topics of BIZOO Startup Safari were IT companies, which participants visited in Sarajevo, Mostar and Banja Luka: Microsoft BH, DataLab, AtlantBH, Authority Partners, Softing and Lanaco. Participants of BIZOO Startup Safari had a chance to attend workshops organized by these companies: Elnos Group from Banja Luka, Spark from Bijeljina, Vele Lab from Mostar and UnicCredit Bank in Sarajevo.

During the program, participants presented and elaborated their ideas inspired by the advice of successful entrepreneurs, and created the chances of successful cooperation between young people and experienced entrepreneurs. BIZOO Startup Safari Volume 2 is announced to take place in May 2014.

BIZOO Startup Safari is a project generously supported by the US Embassy in Sarajevo.
